ROCK SOLID
An Earth deck can be both highly defensive and capable of delivering a devastating punch. Here are some tips to give your custom deck a specific Earth theme.

Verzar Swordsman
The Verzar Swordsman provides one of the best ‘cheap shots’ available (Summoning Cost 1, Attack 2) and should be a staple in any Earth deck whatever its theme.

THE WILD SIDE
The Woodland realm contains a great diversity of races and affiliations, many of which can be used as the core of a themed deck. Here are some ideas to help you start customizing a Wood-themed deck.

Lord Hu
This redoubtable warlord is perfect in a long-game strategy. Once he is on the board, you have a huge advantage in the ‘mana race’. Every enemy destroyed is worth 1 extra mana to you, while the Summoning Cost of other Wood creatures is reduced by 1. Use Hu’s Wood Invocation to incarnate other support creatures (such as Goblin Fort or Edin the Persecuted) and save your mana for a summon-attack, courtesy of Juno Forest Dragon or Elven Night Rider.

Il giornale di De Benedetti scrive che la scelta del 25 aprile per il V2-day è “l’ennesima provocazione” nei confronti della Resistenza e che “ovunque si fronteggeranno le folle chiamate a raccolta dal comico genovese con quelle che intendono ricordare la Liberazione”.
Lo dico in termini metaforici: sono stronzate dettate dalla paura e dagli interessi di bottega. Il V2 day è la continuazione della Liberazione e non vuole fronteggiare proprio nessuno che si ispiri a quella data. I partigiani, gli operai, gli uomini liberi del 25 aprile sono nostri fratelli.
Il 25 aprile non è di proprietà degli intellettuali di sinistra, una definizione corrispondente a un vuoto pneumatico.
Non è di proprietà dei partiti che hanno venduto i lavoratori e la libertà di informazione per un piatto di lenticchie cucinate ad Arcore. E’ la festa di tutti gli italiani che vogliono un Paese libero. L’Italia va liberata di nuovo, è una ex democrazia. Come altro si può chiamare un Paese in cui l’informazione è nelle mani dei gruppi di potere. In cui Silvio Berlusconi è presidente del Consiglio grazie al controllo di tre televisioni e del gruppo Mondadori. Le prime regalate dal latitante Craxi. Il secondo frutto di corruzione di giudici.
Il 25 aprile non è di proprietà di chi parla con i banchieri e non con gli operai che gli hanno dato il voto, di chi ha rassicurato Testa d’Asfalto sull’impunità e con lui vuole fare la Bicamerale, la Costituente, la nuova legge elettorale e qualunque altro atto osceno in luogo pubblico.
Il V2 Day vuole restituire lÂ’informazione ai legittimi proprietari: ai cittadini italiani. I nostri padri e nonni hanno ripulito lÂ’Italia, ma non hanno finito il lavoro.
Il nuovo fascismo è il controllo dellÂ’informazione. I nuovi fascisti sono coloro che controllano l’informazione.
Firmate i tre referendum: abolizione dell’ordine dei giornalisti, abolizione dei finanziamenti pubblici di un miliardo di euro all’anno all’editoria, abolizione della legge Gasparri e del duopolio Partiti-Mediaset.

Hello PlayStation.Blog Readers! My name is Kumi Yuasa and I am the Associate Producer for the upcoming PSN game echochrome. This is my first post on the blog, and I’m excited that my debut here on the blog is to announce that free PS3 and PSP echochrome demos will be available for download tomorrow on the PlayStation Store on the PS3. The PSP demo version will also be available for download on the PlayStation Store for PC.

Perhaps you have read about echochrome here, here, here or even here. There is a lot of excitement for it - N’Gai Croal of Level Up even wrote, “…as of last E3, the 2008 game we’ve been looking forward to the most is echochrome.”

It’s a fun and addictive puzzle game with really elegant and simple graphics. The concept is inspired by the famous MC Escher artwork, which explores infinity, architecture and impossible constructions. In echochrome, you control the camera and perspective on an infinite canvas, guiding a mannequin figure by carefully tilting and turning the level to create a continual pathway, allowing your character to walk safely through the design. Puzzled?!? Check out this video and you’ll see what I mean!

There is no single way to get through a level in echochrome. You and your friends will find different ways to clear levels so each time you play will be different.

The demos you can download tomorrow will take you through a brief tutorial and give you the basic idea of how to progress through the puzzles, but I wanted to also tell you what to expect when the final game is available for download in May. In addition to the 56 exclusive levels for each of the PS3 and PSP versions of echochrome (112 unique levels overall), you will be able to create your own puzzles from scratch and share them with your friends, or even the world!

On PS3, you can upload your created levels to the developers through the game’s interface. Once uploaded, your creation will be considered by the developers for a future downloadable content release. In other words, if selected, people around the world could be playing your level!! Additional content will be available from Day 1. Initially, however, these levels will come from Japan or Asia since the game has been out there for a while already. We’re not exactly sure when we’ll start including US players’ levels, but we’re excited and waiting for customized levels from all of you!! You can also share the levels with your friends by sending your creations directly to them over the PlayStation Network. Stumping your friends is REALLY fun!

And for the PSP version, you can share the levels you create with other people in your area via wireless Ad Hoc. Cool, right?!?

Un Paese senza memoria è destinato a ripetere i propri errori. Ma un Paese che vive di menzogne è destinato a non conoscere neppure i propri errori. L’Italia è sommersa dalle menzogne e non ha più memoria. L’informazione di regime è il virus che l’ha ridotta così. Il 25 aprile prendete la pillola rossa e firmate i referendum. In tutte le piazze d’Italia. V2-day. Libera informazione in libero Stato.

“Caro Beppe,
prim’ancora che avvenga il V2-Day per un’informazione libera ha già sortito due risultati prodigiosi. Il primo è far riscoprire i valori della Resistenza e della Costituzione al Pd, che ultimamente era piuttosto tiepidino in materia, al punto da voler continuamente riformare la Costituzione con tre forze estranee alla Costituente: il Cainano, la Lega e i post (?) fascisti di An. E’ semplicemente strepitoso lo slancio con cui, all’annuncio del V2-Day a Torino, i vertici del Pd torinese hanno subito organizzato una manifestazione di piazza come non se ne vedevano da anni per il 25 Aprile.
Mi ha commosso in particolare l’attivismo resistenziale di uno dei dirigenti locali degli ex-Ds, Stefano Esposito, noto alle cronache torinesi soprattutto per essersi occupato di sale bingo. Mi auguro che venerdì, in piazza San Carlo, riusciremo a collegarci idealmente all’altra piazza, spiegando che il V2-Day è la naturale prosecuzione delle battaglie in difesa della Costituzione. Che contempla, fra l’altro, l’articolo 21, quello sulla libertà d’informazione, il più calpestato in questi anni da destra e anche in parte da sinistra insieme all’articolo 3 (“Tutti i cittadini sono uguali di fronte alla legge, senza distinzione di razza, religione” eccetera).
Come sai, dei tre referendum per i quali raccoglieremo le firme mi appassiona soprattutto il terzo, che ritengo decisivo in un Paese ancora in gran parte “televisivo”. Se davvero riusciremo - insieme all’abolizione di un ente inutile come l’Ordine dei giornalisti e al disboscamento della jungla di finanziamenti pubblici a giornali finti di partiti veri, a giornali veri di partiti finti, a giornali finti di partiti finti – a radere al suolo la legge Gasparri e le altre che l’hanno preceduta, tutte dettate o scritte direttamente dal Cainano a proprio uso e consumo, faremo saltare il tappo più grosso che imprigiona la democrazia italiana. Lo dico perché penso che questo V-Day riuscirà in pieno solo se non passerà alle cronache come la giornata del vaffanculo ai giornalisti, ma come la fine del regime televisivo che opprime e sfigura l’Italia dagli anni 80. Ancora 15 anni fa, il Cainano avrebbe perso sonoramente le elezioni, se avesse detto ai suoli elettori “Di Pietro mi fa orrore” e “Mangano è un eroe”. Infatti nel ’94 vinse inneggiando a Di Pietro, a Falcone e a Borsellino. Il 13 aprile, invece, dopo 15 anni di bombardamento a reti unificate, ha stravinto beatificando Mangano e maledicendo la magistratura.
Il V2-Day, almeno per come lo vedo e lo auspico io, dovrà rimuovere il macigno “di sistema” che blocca la libertà dÂ’informazione. E dovrà dare la sveglia ai giornalisti, perché riscoprano i valori profondi della propria missione: per esempio, il dovere di dare tutte le notizie. Perché il problema in Italia sono anche i politici, gli editori e certi direttori. Ma soprattutto il problema sono i giornalisti, che spesso si autocensurano primÂ’ancora che qualcuno li censuri. Come diceva Leo Longanesi: “In Italia non è la libertà che manca: mancano gli uomini liberi”. Aiutiamoli, aiutiamoci a esserlo tutti dal 25 aprile in poi.” Marco Travaglio

In modo omogeneo però, senza porre imbarazzanti problemi di sottile, impercettibile confronto tra il servo doc Fede e il servo dop Riotta. Una sola voce, una moltitudine di orecchie. Una chitarra di Apicella a Porto Rotondo e cento giornalisti servi. Una luna a Marechiaro e la madunina a Milano. Montaneli e Biagi sotto una lapide. L’italiano è come un canarino in gabbia. La libertà gli fa paura. E’ abituato a non sapere la verità sulla morte di Borsellino. Sull’Italicus e su Piazza Fontana. Sul G8 di Genova e sugli inceneritori. Vuole credere con tutte le sue forze che il pluri presidente del Consiglio Andreotti sia prosciolto e non prescritto per mafia. L’italiano televisivo immagina un nuovo Parlamento fatto da brave persone. Non da condannati e rinviati a giudizio. Chi controlla l’informazione vince, chi la subisce perde. Un mondo virtuale diventa realtà, dei delinquenti diventano senatori e deputati. E’ tutto vero, è tutto falso. Chi grida di più, la vacca è sua. Il 25 aprile ci siamo liberati dal nazifascismo. 63 anni dopo possiamo liberarci dal fascismo dell’informazione. E’ più difficile di allora. In 400 città italiane si raccoglieranno le firme, in decine di città straniere si farà informazione sul controllo dei media in Italia. Musica, biciclette, festa e segni di pace. Un nuovo Rinascimento. Dopo tanta merda, per l’Italia è un atto dovuto. Il 25 aprile Beppe Grillo sarà a Torino per una non stop in piazza San Carlo. Dalle 15 alle 22. Tante voci libere riempiranno Torino di parole di speranza. Coraggio!

Outlook Anywhere / Outlook Autodiscovery on Windows 2008 still has some problems.
Read this most excellent post that has all the details.

Long story shorts: Modify the hosts file, remove the IPv6 localhost (::1) and then add hosts entries for your server. I would recommend against disabling IPv6 on the Exchange server, as this is probably not a recommended or supported configuration.

The root cause is that Outlook 2007 can’t contact a DC/Domain Controller using RPC over HTTP/Outlook Anywhere when used on Windows Server 2008.

Also note that NTLM Authentification for Outlook 2007/Outlook Anywhere is broken on Windows Server 2008.

Dopo la tua segnalazione avremmo bisogno di un’intera segreteria per smistare tutti i contatti. Sono andata ora in banca e ancora un po’ svenivo: lo pubblichiamo domani sul sito, ma sono arrivati 20 mila euro in tre giorni… e continuavano ad entrarne in tempo reale…Grazie. E’ tutto merito tuo e delle persone che credono in te. Non è solo retorica, credimi.
E’ anche un altro il motivo per cui ti ho scritto. So che avrai ricevuto molte critiche per aver scelto di appoggiare una richiesta di terapia iperbarica per una lesione cerebrale. Ci tengo molto ad esprimerti il mio punto di vista, perché ci teniamo tutti quanti a dimostrare che abbaimo cercato di muoverci nella maniera più razionale possibile: ovvio che non ci hanno messo per iscritto che Fabullo guarirà, ma le proposte sono concrete. Tengo anche a farti sapere che non volevamo solo sfruttare il tuo nome…
E’ vero che anche in Italia ci sono le camere iperbariche, però non c’è nessuna indicazione e nessuna esperienza di trattamento delle lesioni cerebrali. Viene detto che non funziona e che non c’è evidenza scientifica: ma non viene fatto niente di concreto e di serio per dimostrare la validità di tali affermazioni, per cui nessuno riesce allora a capire perché negli Usa si ottengano dei risultati!
Secondo me il problema di base non è che la nostra Sanità non finanzi la terapia: ovvio, viene detto che è inutile. Il problema di base è che a priori si decide di non speriementarla: se ci fossero dati certi che negano i risultati americani allora non avremmo nulla da dire. MA questi dati non ci sono, abbiamo deciso che non funziona e basta.
Negli Usa, a differenza che in Italia e in Europa, hanno delle piccole camere iperbraiche singole, dove la terapia può essere dosata sul paziente.
Solo per dirti la differenza di vedute: in Italia la presenza di crisi epilettiche è una controindicazione all’iperbarica, negli Usa rappresenta un’indicazione di trattamento. Una simile disparità di veduta mi sembra molto poco chiara, sembra il segno di una chiusura a priori.
Un altro mito da sfatare: gli americani dicono che tutti i bambini, anche i più gravi, recuperano completamente. Non è vero, le prognosi fatte sono molte diverse, anche se spesso i risultati hanno superato le aspettative proprio perché si parla di bambini.
Questo invece è un fatto personale: sono una fisioterapista, ho cercato di muovermi in questa intricata situazione nel modo più scientifico possibile, anche se da mamma disperata non è così semplice…Però ci è sembrato onesto provare per soli tre mesi: onesto nei confronti di Fabio, di Michela che rimane qui, di tutti coloro che ci stanno dando dei soldi…anche perché se torniamo con dei risultati importanti (e Dio fa che sia così, e questo lo dice la mamma e non la fsioterapista, sto per diventare completamente schizofrenica…) intendo impegnarmi seriamente per la promozione della sperimentazione, in maniera seria. Ecco, penso che in tal caso ti chiederò di nuovo aiuto, questa volta con il cuore più leggero. Guarda, mi verrebbe da dire: promettiamo di incontrarci per portare “evidenze scientifiche” ai congressi medici!!! Chissà che il buon Dio ci metta mano…

Hi all! As many of you already know, the Metal Gear Online Beta, originally scheduled to launch today, April 21st 2008, has been postponed. Due to this, we’ve also put a hold on our regularly scheduled Metal Gear Mondays content on the PS Blog, to bring you the latest news.

Extraordinary levels of traffic from all over the world have caused the MGO Beta servers to destabilize, as such, the service has been unable to run. Because of this, we have made the following changes to the schedule.

The MGO team in Japan is currently working around the clock to stabilize the servers, and is aiming to launch gameplay this weekend of April 26th. We must note, given the current situation, this is subject to change.

To compensate for the delay, the MGO Beta period has been extended a week, now ending on May 11th. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Please note that your MGO Beta UPVCs will only be valid up until May 5th 2008, so please make sure to register them by then.
